Welcome to Green Life DC Weed Dispensary And Marijuana Delivery ("Green Life DC," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website located at https://dcgreenlife.com (the "Site"), as well as your purchase of cannabis products, accessories, and related services from us — whether in-store, by phone, online for pickup, or via delivery (collectively, the "Services").

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. By accessing the Site, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Site or our Services.

These Terms include an arbitration agreement and class action waiver in Section 17 that affect your legal rights. Please review them carefully.

Minimum Age

You must be at least 21 years of age to access this Site, create an account, or purchase any product from Green Life DC. Patients aged 18 to 20 may purchase only with a valid recommendation from a DC-licensed healthcare practitioner.

Medical Cannabis Program Requirement

You must be a registered patient under the District of Columbia's Medical Cannabis Program — either through DC self-certification (for DC residents 21+), a healthcare provider recommendation, an out-of-state medical cannabis card honored under DC reciprocity, or a valid temporary non-resident registration — in order to purchase cannabis products from Green Life DC.

Verification

We reserve the right to verify your age and patient registration status at any time, including at the time of order placement, in-store visit, or delivery. Failure to provide valid government-issued photo identification and current patient registration documentation will result in order cancellation. No refunds will be issued for orders canceled due to failed age or registration verification at the point of delivery or pickup.

Misrepresentation

Misrepresenting your age, identity, residency, or patient status is a violation of these Terms and may also constitute a violation of District of Columbia law. We reserve the right to refuse service, ban your account, and report violations to appropriate authorities.

Green Life DC is a licensed medical cannabis dispensary in Washington, DC, operating under the authority of the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration (ABCA) and in compliance with the District of Columbia's medical cannabis laws and regulations. All products sold by Green Life DC are sourced from licensed DC cultivators and manufacturers and have been tested in compliance with DC regulations.

We do not ship cannabis products outside the District of Columbia or its authorized delivery zones. Cannabis remains a Schedule I controlled substance under United States federal law, and crossing state lines with cannabis — even to states where cannabis is legal — is a federal offense.

Account Creation

Certain features of the Site (such as placing online orders, joining GreenLife Rewards, or receiving SMS/email alerts) may require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to update such information as needed.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at greenlife1dc@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

One Account Per Person

Each registered patient is permitted one (1) GreenLife Rewards account. Sharing or transferring accounts is prohibited and violates the District of Columbia Medical Cannabis Program rules.

Permitted Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Use the Site in violation of any local, state, or federal law
Use the Site to harass, abuse, intimidate, or harm any person
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or any system or network connected to the Site
Use any automated means (including bots, scrapers, or data-mining tools) to access or collect data from the Site
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Site
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from any portion of the Site
Use the Site to transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any portion of the Site without our express written permission

Product Descriptions

We strive to display product information — including descriptions, cannabinoid content, strain genetics, images, and effects - as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that all product descriptions, photographs, or other content on the Site are completely accurate, current, or error-free.

Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Prices may change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you complete checkout.

Availability

Cannabis product availability changes frequently. We do not guarantee that any product displayed on the Site or our menu will be in stock at the time of your order. If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you to offer a substitute, partial fulfillment, or full refund.

Errors

In the event of a pricing error, product description error, or other typographical mistake, we reserve the right to cancel any affected order - even after the order has been confirmed - and issue a full refund. We will notify you promptly if such cancellation is necessary.

Order Placement

By placing an order — whether online, by phone, or in-store — you make an offer to purchase the listed products at the listed price, subject to these Terms.

Order Acceptance

Your order is not accepted until we confirm it through an order confirmation message, in-store transaction completion, or successful delivery handoff. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to orders that:

Cannot be verified for age, identity, or patient status
Exceed DC's legal possession or purchase limits
Appear to be placed for unlawful resale or distribution
Contain pricing or product errors
Cannot be fulfilled due to inventory unavailability
Are placed by an account we have previously banned or restricted

Purchase Limits

Under DC's Medical Cannabis Program, registered patients may purchase up to 8 ounces of cannabis (or equivalent in other forms) within any rolling 30-day period. We track and enforce this limit. Orders that would exceed this limit will be reduced or canceled.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept cash and debit cards only. Due to federal banking restrictions on cannabis-related transactions, we do not accept credit cards at this time.

ATM Fees

Debit transactions may incur a small ATM-style processing fee, which will be disclosed at the time of purchase. An ATM is also available in-store.

Payment Authorization

By providing a payment method, you represent that you are authorized to use it and authorize Green Life DC to charge the full amount of your order, including taxes and any applicable delivery fees.

Failed Payment

If your payment is declined or otherwise fails, your order will not be processed. Repeated failed payment attempts may result in account suspension.

Service Area

We deliver throughout Washington, DC, and to select Maryland locations including Silver Spring, Takoma Park, and Chevy Chase. Service areas are subject to change. See our Areas We Serve page for current zones.

Delivery Fees & Minimums

A standard delivery fee applies to all orders
Free delivery on orders over $150 (subject to change)
Minimum order amounts may apply for delivery

Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are typically 15–30 minutes within DC. Actual times may vary based on traffic, weather, demand, and order volume. Delivery time estimates are not guarantees.

Recipient Requirements

The registered patient who placed the order must personally receive the delivery and present a valid government-issued photo ID and DC patient registration upon arrival. We will not leave cannabis products at the door, with a doorman, with a building concierge, with a roommate, or with any other third party.

Failed Deliveries

If our driver arrives and the patient is unavailable, refuses to present valid ID/registration, or otherwise cannot complete the delivery, the order will be returned to the store and treated as a canceled order. A re-delivery fee may apply, and the original delivery fee is non-refundable.

Discreet Packaging

All deliveries are made in plain, unmarked packaging. We do not display Green Life DC branding on delivery vehicles or packaging.

Hotel & Short-Term Rental Deliveries

We deliver to hotels and short-term rentals. You are responsible for confirming with your accommodation that cannabis possession is permitted on the property. Green Life DC is not responsible for any consequences arising from possession on prohibited premises.

Cannabis is a regulated product, and DC law restricts the return of cannabis products once they have left the dispensary. Please review our complete Return Policy for full details. In summary:

All cannabis sales are final once the product leaves our premises (in-store) or is accepted at delivery
Defective products (manufacturing defects, broken hardware on vape cartridges, leaking packaging) may be eligible for exchange or store credit, provided the issue is reported within 48 hours of purchase and the product is returned unused with original packaging
Accessories (papers, grinders, glass, etc.) may be returned in unused, original condition within 7 days with a valid receipt
No refunds will be issued for product effectiveness, personal preference, or change of mind

Submissions

If you submit reviews, comments, testimonials, feedback, suggestions, photos, or other content ("User Content") to us — whether through the Site, social media, email, or in-store — you grant Green Life DC a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, and fully sublicensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such User Content in any media for marketing, promotional, or operational purposes.

Your Representations

By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

The content is your original work or you have obtained all necessary rights
The content does not violate any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
The content is not defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, or otherwise unlawful
You are at least 21 years of age
You will not be entitled to any compensation for the use of your User Content

Removal

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to monitor, edit, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion, including content we deem to be inappropriate, inaccurate, or in violation of these Terms.

No Endorsement

User Content does not reflect the views of Green Life DC. We do not endorse, support, or guarantee the accuracy of any User Content.

No Medical Advice

Information provided on the Site — including product descriptions, blog posts, strain guides, and FAQs — is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment. Cannabis has not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before using cannabis, particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, or are taking other medications.

"AS IS" Basis

THE SITE, THE PRODUCTS, AND THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or freedom from errors. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

No Guarantee of Effects

Cannabis affects every person differently. We make no representations or guarantees about the effects, benefits, or results you may experience from any product purchased from Green Life DC.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

In no event shall Green Life DC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to damages for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, the products, or the Services
Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid Green Life DC in the six (6) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00), whichever is greater
These limitations apply whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, and even if Green Life DC has been advised of the possibility of such damages

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND REQUIRES MOST DISPUTES TO BE RESOLVED THROUGH BINDING ARBITRATION RATHER THAN IN COURT.

Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at greenlife1dc@gmail.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith within 30 days of receipt.

Binding Arbitration

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, the products, or the Services shall be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except as stated in Section 17.4 below.

Arbitration shall be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Washington, DC, or via remote video conference at the arbitrator's discretion. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

Class Action Waiver

YOU AND GREEN LIFE DC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. Neither party may join or consolidate claims with claims of any other person.

Exceptions

The following are excluded from binding arbitration:

Claims that may be brought in small claims court (so long as they remain individual and within that court's jurisdictional limits)
Claims for injunctive or equitable relief to protect a party's intellectual property rights
Claims that cannot be arbitrated as a matter of law

Opt-Out Right

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to greenlife1dc@gmail.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your full name, address, and a clear statement that you decline to be bound by arbitration.

Governing Law; Venue for Non-Arbitrable Claims

These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. For any claims not subject to arbitration, exclusive venue shall be the state or federal courts located in the District of Columbia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Green Life DC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

Your use or misuse of the Site, products, or Services
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any law or the rights of any third party
Any User Content you submit
Any consumption, possession, transportation, or use of cannabis products purchased from us

Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
Provide notice through the Site or, where appropriate, by email or SMS

Your continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Site and Services.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site, your account, or any aspect of the Services — at any time, with or without notice, and with or without cause — including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) shall survive.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction or an arbitrator, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time without your consent. Any attempted assignment by you in violation of this provision is void.

Entire Agreement

These Terms - together with our Privacy Policy, Return Policy, and any other policies referenced herein - constitute the entire agreement between you and Green Life DC regarding your use of the Site and Services, and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and proposals.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, supply chain disruptions, labor disputes, utility failures, or internet/communications failures.
