Your Neighborhood Dispensary
Penn Quarter packs more of Washington into a few blocks than almost anywhere else: the National Portrait Gallery, Ford's Theatre, the National Archives, two of the city's best theater companies and some of its most celebrated restaurants. It's also a real neighborhood, with plenty of people living in the condos and apartments between Pennsylvania Avenue and H Street. Whether you live here or you're staying in a hotel for a few nights, the best rated dispensary near me is only useful if it can get to you.
Green Life DC Weed Dispensary And Marijuana Cannabis Delivery is rated 4.9 stars from 2,006 Google reviews, and we deliver our full menu to Penn Quarter for free, with no order minimum. Our licensed dispensary is at 7329 Georgia Ave NW, which is actually the same road as 7th Street NW, just farther north. Most orders arrive in 15–30 minutes in an unmarked car, with live tracking the whole way.
Penn Quarter's name is newer than its buildings. The Patent Office at 8th and F Streets went up starting in 1836 and served as a Civil War barracks and hospital before becoming home to two Smithsonian museums, and the General Post Office across the street, begun in 1839, is now a hotel. After decades of decline, local developers and a neighborhood association adopted the name "Pennsylvania Quarter" in the late 1980s, a nod to Paris's Latin Quarter, and it caught on as "Penn Quarter" in the 1990s, when the arena opened in 1997 and the neighborhood came back to life.
Visiting from out of town? DC doesn't sell cannabis recreationally, but you can still order legally. You need to be 21 or older and registered with DC's Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration (ABCA). Visitors can register online for anywhere from 3 days to a full year, and DC residents can self-certify for free.
