Green Life DC Weed Dispensary And Marijuana Cannabis Delivery is a licensed dispensary at 7329 Georgia Ave NW. Delivery to McLean Gardens is free with no order minimum, in an unmarked car with live tracking from our store to your door.
In 1898, newspaper publisher John Roll McLean bought 75 acres here for a summer estate he called "Friendship," with a golf course, tennis courts, stables and Italian gardens. His son Ned and daughter-in-law Evalyn Walsh McLean, the last private owner of the Hope Diamond, took it over in 1916. In 1942 the estate was sold to the federal government, and 31 red brick apartment buildings and nine dormitories went up to house wartime defense workers. After a long tenant campaign, residents bought the buildings in 1980 and turned them into condos, in what was called the largest buy-out in DC history.
