Brightwood Park is the triangle tucked between Georgia Avenue on the west, Missouri Avenue on the northeast and Kennedy Street on the south. People often mix it up with Brightwood, Petworth or Manor Park, and parts of its northern edge were once counted as Petworth. It's mostly rowhouses and semi-detached homes, with two small business strips along Georgia Avenue and Kennedy Street. Wondering which dispensaries deliver near me? We're about 1.5 miles up Georgia Avenue and deliver here every day.
Green Life DC Weed Dispensary And Marijuana Cannabis Delivery is a licensed dispensary at 7329 Georgia Ave NW. Delivery to Brightwood Park is free with no order minimum, in an unmarked car with live tracking. Please use a private home or apartment address; we can't deliver to schools or federal property.
Most of the homes here went up in the first half of the 1900s, as the city filled in north along Georgia Avenue. For years the area didn't have much of a name of its own, until neighbors formed the Brightwood Park Citizens Association in January 2013. Since then Kennedy Street has picked up some of the most talked-about small businesses in Ward 4: a 24-seat restaurant that forages its own ingredients, a coffee roaster in an old liquor store and an ice cream shop that keeps a fund so kids who can't pay still get a scoop.
Not registered yet? You need to be 21 or older and registered with DC's Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration (ABCA). DC residents can self-certify online for free in a few minutes, and visitors can register for anywhere from 3 days to a full year.
