Sursum Corda is a small neighborhood that straddles North Capitol Street, so it sits partly in Northwest and partly in Northeast. Its edges are New Jersey Avenue on the west, Massachusetts Avenue on the south, New York Avenue and Florida Avenue on the north, and the rail tracks at NoMa-Gallaudet U on the east. Today it's one of the fastest-changing corners of the city, with new mid-rise apartments going up block by block. Looking for a top rated dispensary near me? We're rated 4.9 stars from more than 2,000 Google reviews, and we deliver here every day.
Green Life DC Weed Dispensary And Marijuana Cannabis Delivery is a licensed dispensary at 7329 Georgia Ave NW. Please use a private home or apartment address; we can't deliver to schools, libraries or federal property.
The name is Latin for "lift up your hearts," a phrase from the Catholic Mass. It comes from the Sursum Corda Cooperative, a low-income housing co-op that grew out of a 1965 effort backed by Georgetown University alumni. In the 2000s the city launched its Northwest One plan for the area, and in 2009 the Northwest One Library and the Walker-Jones Education Campus opened on L Street. The co-op later partnered with developers on a plan for more than 1,100 new apartments, including affordable units and a right for former residents to come back, and demolition for that project began in 2018.
