Green Life DC Weed Dispensary And Marijuana Cannabis Delivery is a licensed dispensary at 7329 Georgia Ave NW. Delivery to Twining is free with no order minimum, in an unmarked car with live tracking. Please use a private home or apartment address; we can't deliver to schools, parks or federal property.
The neighborhood takes its name from Major William J. Twining, an Army Corps of Engineers officer who served as one of DC's commissioners from 1878 until his death in 1882. In 1888 a development called "Twining City" was planned nearby, but it was never built, and the land stayed mostly farms into the 1920s. Bungalows went up along G Street SE in that decade, Fort Dupont Park grew to its present size through the 1930s, and Minnesota Avenue was cut through in the late 1940s, when most of Twining's brick houses were built.
